For certain off-highway wheels and rims

  • Circumferential weld cracks
  • Disc replacement
  • Section replacement
  • Butt-weld cracks
  • Valve-hole cracks
  • Cracks around ballast plugs

Prior to any repair, wheels and rims must be:

  • Cleaned by sand-blasting
  • Inspected by qualified staff
  • Assessed to determine if the wheel or rim is repairable
  • Evaluated for cost effective alternatives to repair

We do not repair and do not recommend repair of:

  • Steel wheels for passenger cars and light trucks
  • Aluminum wheels for passenger cars and light trucks
  • Most tubeless steel wheels and rims used in any on highway application
  • Any Alcoa aluminum wheels

Repair of any kind voids the warranty of Alcoa and Hayes-Lemmerz products.

We will not recommend repair of wheels or rims where the non-repaired sections of the wheel or rim are of sub-standard quality.

The potential liability from accident or death associated with a repaired wheel used in any on-highway application is significant
